You can tell Romita put a lot of time into the detail of this cover. This action-packed cover easily could have been a cover for the Amazing Spider-Man title, but as fate would have it the art was slated for the Sub-Mariner title. LOVE this cover--classic Romita Spidey, Subby in his disco suit, the texture of the wall and the background... All perfect! Wow. Huge congrats!!

This cover is stunning! Definitely could have been used as an Amazing Spider-Man cover, but I like that it was used for a Subby title. Such a perfect image of Namor. Definitelty one of the best Romita covers I have ever seen.

I'm probably one of the few people who actually liked Subby's black costume. To have Spidey on the same cover just puts this one over the top for me. One of my very favorite covers from Subby's short run. Truly amazing!

Superb and dynamic cover with equal billing for both characters! A beauty. I may be in the minority but I always liked that blue costume (life saving suit designed by Reed Richards :) ).
