Krackle boom with Zaxon. The master of mankind. Oh, ya and that Namor guy too. Only slightly sensational lol. Love this cover. Lots of fun. Congrats!

Freudian reading alert! I do look at things on a superficially penetrating manner, and at first glance read your description as, 'Dr. Konrad Zaxon gives the Emerald Giant a full blast with his organ.' Look at where the doctors hand is and where the blast appears to be originating from. Mighty Marvelous filth! How did they get away with this stuff? Someone should inform the Comics Code.....Organic energy indeed....

A new 1972 cover by Starlin bringing classics reprints from the Lee/Kirby Silver Age Tales to Astonish where he had to match their energy and then some!

Starlin was acting as a bridge from the Marvel 1960s style to the Marvel of the 1970s with this awesome cover.

Wow, just look at this cover! More importantly, look at those names! Romita! Sinnott! Starlin! Are you freaking kidding me? And if that wasn't enough, it's the cover that kicked off Jim's glorious career at Marvel. Man, you sure know how to pick 'em.
