DescriptionBring On The Bad Guys! A gaggle of old FF villains band together to re-form The Intelligencia and make life interesting for The Avengers (and Spider-Woman in particular) as they set into motion events that will ultimately lead to the Age of Ultron…But here’s Bryan Hitch and Paul Neary doing what they do best: crafting a wicked piece packed to the gills with detail and characters and rubble and double the trouble, drawn very nearly edge-to-edge on a single, fantastic 22x17 board. Hitch leans into the classic look of Klaw and the Mad Thinker (AND his Awesome Android), builds on Leinil Yu’s awesome “modern” (circa 2008) visual retooling of The Wizard, and then treats us to some gorgeous redesign work of his own on the Red Ghost and an uber-creepy (and -very- Hitchian) M.O.D.O.K. The coolest thing, though, -has- to be Mikho, the Red Ghost’s gorilla: he and his comrades Igor (the baboon) and Peotr (the orangutan) have seldom (never?) looked better. Spider-Woman may have her hands full here… Just… dang. A dream come true to display this! -THANK YOU-, Bill! -THANK YOU-, Bryan!! Social/Sharing |

This is EPIC, Jason - my jaw is on the floor. The Hitch/Neary magic is on full display with the tight composition and deft inking. There's a great sense of scale, mood, and atmosphere. A homerun!

Epic jam packed character filled DPS by Hitch & Neary! Even with so much going on in this large canvas, Mikho the gorilla stands out to your point - too cool! great addition, congrats Jason!

This is an amazing DPS! It is a paradox of beauty in apparent clutter. Many congrats, Jason!

Impressive DPS by one of those artists who do them best.
I love how Hitch tilted the camera angle to incease the depth and the composition possibilites (allowing him to add more characters, likely).

Unquestionably, the coolest thing IS Mikho, the Red Ghost’s gorilla, who SHOULD HAVE been introduced in the Fantastic Four movie! I mean, they did use the orangutan, but still left him on the cutting room floor anyway. I also love how Phil Spector, aka Klaw looks here, as he's about to unleash his infamous Wall of Sound on his ex-wife, Ronnie Spector, aka Spider Woman! Divorces can sure be nasty. All the background characters look great too, especially the Mad Thinker and his awesome android. M.O.D.O.K. looks uglier than usual, if that's even possible! Congrats on another fine Bendis addition, Jason!

Very cool Avengers DPS by the ultra-talented Bryan Hitch. It features an amazing array of supervillains including Mikho (the Red Ghost's Ap), Klaw the Master of Sound, Spider-Woman, MODAK, the Mad Thinker and his Android and a host of other supervillains. Beautifully drawn by Hitch and masterfully inked by Paul Neary. This is an amazing DPS and a worthy addition to your great collection.

Hearkens back to those crazy panoramic posters of the 90s, but with modern sensibilities a la an incredible ensemble film...

These figural groupings defy imagination. To call the piece packed is still somehow an understatement. Most importantly, you have an example of Hitch doing what he does best. Bravo.

Yes, I appreciate the classic look of some of the villains, Klaw in particular. There is so much going on, so Hitch really has made use of the format. My money is still on Spider-Woman to win this. Nice DPS!
