DescriptionI love JRJR's Spider-Man, definitely in my top 5 Spidey artists of all time. His Lizard here is ferocious with a helping dose of classiness. I love it and needless to say, I have been dying to see JRJR draw a Spider-Man/ Lizard story. That still hasn't happened yet, but he has drawn a page of the Lizard here and there, so there's not too many out there.Thank you, thank you to Scott Hanna for selling me this OA directly at Summercon 2024! His inking over JRJR's pencils here is incredible. Look at all those textures! I've waited 21 years for JRJR to draw the Lizard again. The last time was in ASM #500 for 2 pages and according to Hanna, JRJR kept those pages. Social/Sharing |

Bricks make the piece! It confines the confrontation into the dark alley and ups the tension as Lizard stands to close off an avenue for escape!

Thanks K! Naturally I have a Ditko and Romita Sr. on my Lizard OA list, but I know realistically those will be out of reach for me haha.

AWESOME page, I saw this at heroescon last year at the artists choice table, damn near tempted to ask for the price, but I decided not to, but was great to hold it in my hands. I have always liked the lizard and felt bad he isn't allowed to have peace in his life, he would make a great Allie to spidey or even a great addition to the Avengers. Also out of curiosity how much was it?
