Awesome acquisition!  The Ben Reilly body language from Ross was different than the Peter Parker poses and the Lizard pose had such a monsterous look that you feel bad for the son witnessing this.

Nice one!  Very sharp pencils that could have bypassed inking if they wanted to go for a full color style.

I agree, Ferreira is totally underrated.  But hopefully more collectors will gradually learn about him, especially if you post beauties like this one. Great add!

I remember every page of this anniversary issue and a lot of that has to do with Bagley's awesome Lizard rendition - lotsa great example here, with those quill like scales.  Congrats!

What are the odds that Lizard's wife is also named Martha!?!?!?  This is Bagley's prime period on ASM with these issues right up there with his most memorable having that hologram on the cover!  

Superb pencils by Bags and inked by Randy Emberlin. It's a gorgeous plotted page layout setting up the Lizard's hidden trap and cornering the vulnerable in confined space. Congrats these are tough to get.

Glad you were able to get it, Tommy - definitely in the right collection :)  Lotsa great shots of Bachalo's Lizard here - we all agree his rendition is so uniquely awesome!  Congrats!

Just another typical dinner at the Connors residence...  FANTASTIC page, Tommy!  Whereas everyone else seems to draw a thinner and more menacing Lizard, Chris leans into a body-positive "Iguana phase" look for Curt (and he's never looked better, imho).  Superb inking by John here (I especially love panel two); absolutely gorgeous in richly detailed black and white.  A Bachalo Lizard page is no joke!  Congrats, Tommy, on this awesome pick up!

This is a nice father and son page as Billy also has the gene to turn him to a lizard!  Bachalo's art looks better here than colored as it was almost unreadable with so many of Lizard's scales having a muddy look for being so detailed. 

Awesome! Loved Milgrom's work on Spec Spi and I can picture the cover this piece is homaging perfectly! Congrats!

(and your 'Lizard' theme is among my favorites on CAF, as I also love the character and think it lends itself to lots of wonderful design and experimentation on the part of the great artists you've hit up for "input"...  Such an outstanding and fun gallery!)

I had the great good fortune of getting a Ben Grimm / Thing headsketch from Mr. Bagley last year, and it's one of my favorite pieces of art that I have.  Sometimes "just a head sketch" is far, far more than just a head sketch. :)

You lucky dog!  I just missed out on this one!  I think Ottley’s ASM run has been great in some ways and so so in others but his rendition of the Lizard is definitely in the former category!  And this is one of the best images IMO!  Congrats!
