Description

Most of these recreations, including this one, are painted in tempera, i.e., an opaque, water based medium. Since there is no option for this medium on the site, I have chosen watercolor as the closest of the options. But most people think of a paintins in watercolor as having the appearance of transparency whixh is very different than the opaque appearance of a painting in tempera (a.k.a. gouache, bodycolor, poster paint, etc.).

Wow, absolutley gorgeous. I came close to winning one of these glorious recreations over ten years ago and have regretted missing out ever since. Bravo!
