DescriptionHaving a page where Batman decks an Earth-X Nazi from one of my favorite JLA/JSA crossovers is an awesome addition to the collection. One of the first comics I owned was JLA 135 from summer 1976, that year’s annual JLA/JSA crossover. Those crossovers sent me hunting for JLA back issues, and I still remember finding JLA 107, with its wild Earth-X cover where strange heroes tell the JLA and JSA that Nazis won World War II. No way! Growing up with all those different DC Earths, the multiverse always made perfect sense to me, and completing the crossover runs is a big part of why JLA is the largest series in my collection. I love “Crisis on Infinite Earths” as a story and as art, but I still think collapsing the multiverse to “simplify” DC was a terrible call. It also quietly killed the annual JLA/JSA crossovers, which ran for over 20 years and was a big part of my summers for nearly a decade. All the more reason to love a page with Batman punching a Nazi. This was from the second issue of JLA I ever bought as a kid when I was 5 years old! This book has such deep nostalgia for me! Needless to say, if you ever decide to part with it let me know. Congrats on a Great page!

Great page. While my first JLA issue wasn't a crossover, I agree that the DC changes really disappointed me when the annual JLA/JSA issues were a thing of the past. At least we have the originals to go back and re-read.

Not the first time and DWJ certainly made it not the last time for Batman fighting the scourge of our times!

It's unfortunate that many of today's readers wouldn't recognize the bad guys. Great stuff!

I question whether or not those who would not recognize the bad guys actually read.

Yes, I loved those crossovers too, and this is a great action-packed page! Giordano's inks are fabulous on this.
