DescriptionX-Men (Cyclops! Wolverine! Colossus!) vs The Hellfire Club's Inner Circle (Shaw! Leland! Wyngarde!) and caught in the middle is the Hellfire Club's unwilling Black Queen, Phoenix! I remember this entire storyline oh so well as it was the subject of intense discussion amongst 4th grade friends. Flash forward to few years ago during a Gabri-El Family vacation and I'm still grateful to WO for calling me up and making it possible to put this into my collection --thanks Buddy!Social/Sharing |

The 130 issues were the only time (for me) the X-Men rivaled the Avengers in pure enjoyment factor. Man I loved these issues. Congrats on an amazing piece of history!

Holy SMokes! Takes me right back to 8th grade where I couldn't wait for the next chapter in most probably the most historical comic storyline of all time! Who knew back then we were reading history in the making! Congratulations Will on a true gem!

I too saw the movie earlier tonight. The timing of this is indeed "uncanny" (sorry, I couldn't resist). Anyway, the film was a visual treat and so is this cover! Congrats Will.

I have come back time and again to gaze at this cover, but I just realized I have never left a comment. (It frankly befuddles me that the piece doesn’t have over 10,000 views). Anyway, when I look at a cover like this, it totally blows my mind that someone actually OWNS such an amazing piece of X-Men history. Major, major congrats!!

Tell you what. I will send over a high grade copy of the comic so you do not feel its loss. After all, you saw the comic first. The comic is the primary object and originator of fixation. I believe I have just summarised the nature of this addiction.
