DescriptionI was on Rafael Grampa’s commission list for quite some time, so I’m very happy to finally get this piece. Initially I wanted a Batman commission from seeing several of his incredible renderings of the caped crusader over the years, but as you can see I chose Darth Vader. If it’s not going to be the Dark Knight, then why not the Dark Lord of the Sith! It won’t be a surprise to anyone visiting my gallery that I love Star Wars. The thought of Grampa drawing Vader was exciting to me and I was also really curious what he would do with this character. Well, I'm very pleased with the final result! Oh, and this is Grampa’s first drawing of Darth Vader! Big thanks to Rafael and Ivan!!!Social/Sharing |

Sweet piece! And I think Vader has a bit of 'Dark Knight vibe' to him as well.

Wow, first Grampa Vader rendition! Came out great! Nice energy with with that lightsaber slash, some fine detailed lines throughout, and love the lighting effect. A winning image all around. Congrats!

Only Grampa would try to put his own vibe on Darth Vader, and totally pull it off. Cool piece! Congrats!
