Description

Mon-El was my favorite Legion character as a kid, so I was thrilled to be able to pickup this page from his first appearance in 2018.

This features the cover image of Superboy and Mon-El vs. a giant alien jack-in-the-box. This is also the pivotal moment where Superboy paints lead balls to look like Kryptonite, which will ultimately force Mon-El to spend 1000 years in the Phantom Zone, until a cure for Daxamite lead poisoning is found. Kind of a tragic turn of events for a 60's comic book!
