Description

Have been long looking for a nice "Spidey" comic strip by John Romita Sr.
So glad I finally found a good example from the very first year.
What I especially like about the newspaper strips are that the artwork - opposite the Comic book pages - is both penciled and inked by Romita himself.
Description of the art : John Romita Sr. and Stan Lee Amazing Spider-Man Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-19-77 (Register and Tribune Syndicate Inc., 1977).
From the first year of the strip. A great action sequence drawn by one of Spidey's most influential artists, "Jazzy" John Romita Sr., and written by Spidey's creator, Stan "The Man" Lee. Done in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 4.25". In Excellent condition, inscribed and signed by both Romita and Lee in the bottom margin.
A piece of Marvel history!
