Mike Ploog apparently insisted he draw the original Marvel Planet Of The Apes series in 1974, which was developed as a sequel to the fifth and final original Apes film, Battle of the Planet of the Apes.

And that�s cool, because Mike provides us with some very lovely artwork throughout, including this terrific page.

Monkey mayhem by Ploog! They made these pages have so much more emotional weight with the Chiaramonte wash inks that provide depth to different levels of the action!
