I do feel your pain Michael, having traded away some amazing pieces over the years for the wrong reasons.
I, for one, do not have an issue with lightbox pages --- or blueline in some caes ---as it is the only way some things are created. And of course, it's still the printed piece.
This is an especially unusual case, because Steve in all likiehood completely repencilled it before he inked it. Some day I hope to ask him about it.

Agree --- I think the writing was inconsistent, and sometimes dragged a bit. But oh that art!
Oddly, the stain Glass itself is aconbination original art correction / stat on the board. Matbe he has trouble with it?
But I think that was style, as opposed to story.
