Description

This is the first 2 page splash in my collection. Check out the additional images to see how it appeared in print, they totally changed Wolverine's costume out on Laura in post but I def like the look of the original art better. This piece is action packed and features many of my favorite X-Men including Storm, Bishop, Nightcrawler, X-23, Jubilee and of course Psylocke who is using her psychic knife on one of the Multiple Man clones.

This piece comes from an important issue to me. After a decade away from the hobby I was just getting back into comics in the fall of 2018 when this X-Men reboot happened and it is the single issue that I own the most variant covers of (10). X-Men have always been my favorite so a series relaunch right then was perfect timing for me to go dive back in to collecting. I quickly got hooked on the original art and commission side of the hobby and so this piece is sort of a coming back full circle to where a lot of this collecting re-started for me. I'd been eyeing this piece for a while but the Cadence year end sale got me to finally pull the trigger.
