Jeff was an inspiration to my son Michael.
Jeff was/is always kind and gracious with his time and meeting fans.
He posted the following on his site. It was originally printed in the 50th anniversary San Diego Comic-con souvenir book this past July.

I traded a few e-mails with Michael and could tell he was a genuine fan. And a very nice young man. I'm glad he got to enjoy his passions for all those years. My condolences.

I almost commented on the Amazing page of David Lloyd V for Vendetta art posted up today saying how nothing could top it, not quite sure what stopped me but I'm now glad that I didn't as NOTHING will top this post.

D.J. I'm so sorry you lost Michael. I was very touched by your story and I feel we all get a small glimpse of what Michael like through your words. And I think it's wonderful that you came to share it here. God bless you and your family, always.
