Description

Got the opportunity to purchase a "mostly" complete issue of Books of Magic and went for it. I have pages 3,4,7 a d 12-24 of Issue 5 and pages 1,2,5,6,8-11 will be missed.

This issue is an early one and hits some of the notes that are important going forward in the series. Has moments of Tim Hunter addressing his mom's death while visiting her grave, some insight into his future self and just some cool character lore and background.

Just going to post two pages from it so here's the first two that stood out to me.

Also side note, I really enjoy seeing Peter Snejbjerg inks in real life, they are heavy, cool and just very textured.

Very skillfully done to have the vision in reverse negative style on the page. It's like hand etched from the black backgrounds.

Yeah, I really liked his work on this and also the Elseword Batman Story "Detective 27" and Starman. I just like how stuff. My soft spot for heavy inks, strong blacks/whites and white out on pages is fully satisfied looking at his art.

My favorite page from the BoM series...mainly for the image and text for the Demon Agares. Brilliant!!!

Hart, I love the imagery on this page as well! Has a ppwer about it. I actually have all but a handful of pages from this entire issue.
