Description

A solid use of duotone, some splat, some solid inking, a lovecraftian-esque theme....I'm in.

This page also came up as I had started collecting H.P Lovecraft 1st printings from a tiny Wisconsin publishing house named Arkham House. They were responsible for "saving" Lovecraft's writings from pulp obscurity as a spearhead of the then small but passionate Lovecraft fans by putting his stories together and out to the world by publishing the volumes. Arkham House Pubkishing...a cool history of it's own.

Anywho, Vosburg is a man who followed his talents down his own path and I respect that.

Bought during the Comic Art Live Interview and Art Sale with Mike Vosburg.

Very pretty! The Vosburg use of the duo tone board gives lovely shading and tonal qualities.
