WEST COAST AVENGERS # 6 COVER RE-INTERPRETATION BY VAL SEMEIKS: Commission

This page celebrates the return of the Marvel Two-in-One Guy to the Bob Almond Gallery! This is both my 15th commission for the client and my 15th time inking Val Semeiks. This 17th Thing-centric project involves the brief period that Benjy was a member of the West Coast Avengers. The client's inspiration was the cover of AWC#6 (1986) by Al Milgrom and Kyle Baker. Val was hired to re-interpret the image and I to ink it.

I inked this commission on 11x17 2-ply board with a Raphael Kolinsky#8404 size 2 brush, Pitt brush and S marker, micronmarkers, and a Bic White-Out correction pen. I finished it January 15, 2017. Next, onto the other four commissions that came with MTIO Guy's return package...
