As a baseball fan, was happy to be able to support Mark Chiarello's baseball book on kickstarter. The book came out fantastic with great original drawings of all time greats.

I supported at the original art tier where Mark would sketch a player of your choosing. My choice? The great Eric Davis. Mark starts of the book stating who you loved in baseball at age 11 stays with you all your life. Uncannily, Eric Davis was one of those guys who's crazy batting stance I always imitated. A true 5-tool player who I wish had the longevity (played many years but his prime cut short due to injury/health) to show everyone how spectacular he was.

If you never got to see him or paid attention, he played the game the right way. Incredible baseball instincts and the love of the game made you want to play like him.

Eric Davis was a freak of nature and so much fun to watch. Lifetime Reds fan here and fondly remember his role in the 1990 wire to wire Reds championship. Congrats - great piece!

Johnny Bench retired when I was 11, and has always been my favorite player. Watching Eric Davis debut the following season and play for the Reds was certainly a joy to help fill that void. Especially that 1990 run leading up to their World Series sweep. Great choice for a great sketch!
