DescriptionTwo pages from UT by Corrado Roi. Although he has been a favorite contemporary Italian comic artist of mine for years, I always felt there was an unleashed potential in his work. He proved me right in this series with brilliant artwork that shows why he is heir to the Dino Battaglia style/aesthetic. This work is just brilliant in person. I was lucky to get a chance at a few pages while visiting Lucca this year as they were not publicly available but a dealer knew I liked Roi's work and showed me most of the pages from the book. I got what I think are two nice pages. I look forward to seeing where Roi takes his art in the future but certainly one to keep an eye on.Social/Sharing |
