Description

A prime, early title page by Denis Sire. Done in 1983 around the same time as his work in Heavy Metal. I find reference to the page being published in 1986 in a Lisa Bay book by Sire. I suspect it saw print elsewhere before being collected in that tome. A lot of classic Sire style and work on this page. I have included a few details of panels to show you the fine line work.

Beautiful page. Probably Denis Sire was the first (in the year 1979) to draw Bettie Page in a comic book, called Bois Willys.
