Description

Europeans make the best Westerns. I'd say that is not an opinion, just a fact. The Italians have their movies and some great comics but I think the Franco-Belgian cartoonists do it the best. Following in the footsteps of Jije and Moebius comes newer artists like Boucq and Wilson. The Bouncer series has been partially translated and is a fun read. What particularly draws me to Bouncer in addition to the story/character are the Western landscapes and vistas. I am happy to add what I consider a good example by Boucq to my collection. It includes a spectacular vista, Bouncer on his horse with his dog and a girl. For those that know my collecting tastes and preferences, it is all there.

They really need to complete the translation on this series. Killer page from one of the best modern Westerns.
