DescriptionSo proud to own this page from Darwyn Cooke's epic masterpiece - New Frontier! Task Force X jumps into action and Cooke's dynamic storytelling captures it all. I love his clean ink lines and "simple" cartoon forms. This checks off a bucket list item for me. 11x17 Ink on smooth bristol Social/Sharing |

I can't think of anywhere where I have seen such impressive motion and excitement shown through so minimal lines. I am lucky to own one page from Darwyn's Catwoman, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm guessing you feel the same way about your Darwyn. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Thanks, Patrick! Darywn was a special talent and his cartooning is something to be studied. Your Catwoman page is also a special example of his amazing storytelling. I hope to add more of his work from various projects to my collection but they're not always easy to come by.

Darwyn only needed 3 panels on a page to pull your eye around and make you feel the action. He was amazing! Huge congrats on winning this one!

Holy smokes! This story is on the short list of greatest comics ever for me and this is a stellar example of the type of characters Cooke spent his whole career interested in and fleshing out. Huge congrats!

The choices of and the expressiveness of line weights tap into the essential visual cues that communicate everything you need to know and leave all the white noise to boil off.

You have so many incredible pieces in your collection, but the Darwyn Cooke pages are definitely my favorite!

Thanks, Scott! I'm particularly proud of the Darwyn pages too. He was just such a singular talent.
