DescriptionI'd seen some Aype's work in other people's gallery. I got on his list about a year ago and true to the promises of Aurelie, his agent, it all happened on time and like clockwork. I rarely try to influence artists but I did suggest a few changes for the piece after the first prelim was floated by me. I wanted the 'sexiness" tuned down and to be more in keeping with the characters Pratt and Caniff created. I think it turned out great. A lot of Aype's style and a great image. I included some detailed pictures so you can see how much work went into this. The fabric is amazing... how often do you see that said on CAF:)Social/Sharing |

That is some very nice fabric! And how about that cigarette smoke? Beautiful piece Jeff. It came out spectacular.

This is really special.... I know Aype is good but it seems with every piece he just gets better and better and better...

You wanted the sexiness more "toned down"...the mind boggles at what this must've looked like if this version is less sexy. This blows me away. Asian allure captured here to a "T!" *Whew!*

This is a fine illustration, no doubt. I think the most impressive thing about the art are the details on the silk sheets and the flowers. Also, (and I apologize in advance but I can't help myself) Dragonlady got back.

Beautiful piece, Jeff. What i like most is that you put in the same frame two historic comics characters. Pratt has been a great fan of Milton's work. Just amazing.

So great also to see Corto again... This really is an incredible piece, so original and so faithful to the original spirit of the characters! A masterpiece, no less!

A really stunning piece, Jeff. You continue to introduce me to incredibly talented artists - thank you for that. The detail and effort were immediately apparent when I pulled this piece up - but the extra images you included to highlight the detail were just gorgeous.
