Description

A very cool, vintage character concept by Neal from one of his notebooks. As much as I love the art, I also love his notes and thought process. Having worked for Neal for a few years, I saw how he was always thinking of new, innovative ideas and writing and drawing ideas on any piece of paper he had at hand. Such a wealth of knowledge and creativity.

It would have had potential across all media as the storyline and the art would have made a great toy line, cartoon, and who knows what else? Knowling Neal and his connections, he could make things happen.

You nailed it right on the head, Rich. The notes and thought process is the best thing about a piece like this. Not to mention the thick, dark and prominent signature!

A cool character concept/design piece, and an even cooler peak inside the man himself with the handwritten and detailed notes! That's a special one especially since you worked with him and got to know him, very cool.
