DescriptionIncredible "4-pager" poster art drawn by Ron Frenz to promote the Superman Red/Superman Blue one-shot (Feb 1998) with combined 22" x 34" image of the Man of Steel in Metropolis with the Daily Planet in the background! The DC poster was displayed in comic shops around the country…the original art is poster size too!A successful claim on Dueling Dealers from Anthony “I Like Big Art and I Cannot Lie” Snyder. A quad-pager! Now THERE'S something you don't see every day. Just one problem with the photo. One would think that you'd have a bigger smile on your face when holding up tihs beauty. Well, maybe it was the strain of hoisting this ginormous piece that was written on your face. LOL

4x the size = 4x the fun! Supes never looked so good. Congrats Dino!

The intimidation factor alone gets grade A marks. Always stay in control of your emotions and don't give the audience the big smile, lest they find a weakness in your armor.

Lol! Marcus, I love the way you strategically avoided using the C word in that old expression!
I seriously considered pulling the trigger on this one myself, so there's nothing more I can add to what everyone ekse has said. The Superman Blue/Red era may not be the most fondly remembered period in Superman comics history by many fans, but as I often say, that costume design is fantastic and looks even better on a quadruple page splash!

I too like big art and cannot lie, and this is just wonderful! Pretty sure the R in F/R indicates this was inked by Josef "Joe" Rubinstein. Congrats, and thanks for sharing.

Epic, SOOOO epic! Really enjoyed Superman Blue (and Red!) at the time, and having that HUGE image of him on four boards is monumental. Major congrats, Dino!

That's so huge, you could be the monstrous baddie peeeing around a building at Red-Blue Supes. Can Superman save the Daily Planet from Dino?! Dueling Dealers of Destruction! It felt like it needed a little title splash style love. Great pick-up. Congrats!

A magnificent piece from an artist who can draw any character and make that character his own.
