Description

Well....I am over the moon with getting this piece!
This is the hand lettered portion of the intro/title/credits page by Todd Klein for Alan Moore's inaugural Story of the Year arc in Supreme. This was seen on the interior cover for the entirety of the 12 issue arc that began with Supreme #41. Todd let me know that the credits below this for the actual creatives in each issue was done digitally.
Todd is an amazing letterer who worked on this series, and SO many more great comics. I had reached out to Todd about getting a commission a while back, and he was much too busy. Now I believe he is semi-retired. I had no idea he would still actually have this piece, or be willing to sell it. I figured someone had bought it long ago, or maybe Alan had it?

I may be one of 3 people that think this is cool, but to me this is a wonderful piece of art and history, that I am inKleined to think is Awesome : )

Six different types of script used on this!  It needed to show the old fashioned futurism and the excitement of a movie serial to bring hype like a carnival barker.

I think three might be an underestimate.

He sure did use the opportunity to practice his fint types! The real question is, was it truly the "story of the year"?
