DescriptionWell this page has just about everything I could want.We have superman and Batman from the future along with Saturn Girl from the Legion of Superheroes as well as Ma and Pa Kent all drawn by John Byrne. I grew up reading Byrnes epic Man of Steel, Superman, and Action Comics run. He defined the look of Ma and Pa Kent to me. So glad to have a page from this series with them in it. Also really great to have Superman with white temples, Bats, and Irma too! I love this version of Batman with lots of dark shading on the cape, cowl, boots and gloves. Very reminiscent of his appearance in Man of Steel #3. Thanks to Jon for parting with this lovely page to brighten my collection. Social/Sharing |

Great character selection for sure. Nothing like a page of art to put a smile on your face, eh Brandon? 😃

It's got Martha and Batman is there too! I would have settled for that, he takes his time to bring out all the cast in a great story packed piece. Byrne was very inspired for this series and you can tell by the amount of work is was willing to lavish upon this page.

Agree. Such a fun series. It sounds like DC's 5G plans may have been going to take a similar approach with the heroes having been around awhile and aged. Really like how much fun Byrne had with this series.

Such great writing and art piquing the reader's imagination, with revisiting lost loved ones in the distant past, a wounded heroine from a distant future, and a surprise-reveal page turner in the final panel, all amidst an urgent situation. Fantastic!
