One of the collections here on CAF that I follow belongs to Michael Hosey. He has a HUGE collection of Spider-Woman art. I honestly thought I would have to be quicker than him when landing an awesome splash or cover featuring Spider-Woman. This piece surfaced on splashpageart.com and was being sold by Shane Davis. The previous month the website was having a nice discount on all of Shane's art. I missed out on the sale initially but asked Mark Hay to ask Shane if he would still honor the sale even though the deadline had passed. Shane agreed to let me have this awesome cover at the discounted rate, and I couldn't be happier. Thanks go out to Mark and Shane and Michael for not pursuing this! Enjoy the scan!!!

Shane does some great covers and this is a great example! Some really nice inks there on her hair and dark parts of the costume, and the choice of a black background really makes the figure pop. Congrats!
