Description

This is art for The Observer Magazine “Simpsons” Cover. Pencils & inks by Marilyn Frandsen. Art Image is about 14 x 17” inches in size and is signed by Marilyn Frandsen. This issue is 6 August 2000 of The Observer Magazine, a British publication. Cover is for a segment on the 10th Birthday of The Simpsons in England. Bart & Lisa were drawn on a separate paper (not included) and was digitally added for the final.

This merchandising/promo art has never been made available for sale before. This is part of the Frandsen Collection. Marilyn Frandsen has been working with Matt Groening illustrating the Simpsons, Futurama & Disenchantment for over two decades and continues to do so today. Published Simpsons art whether its merchandising, advertising or Bongo Comics related, is extremely rare and hard to come by.
