Sergio is a treasure. Happy to see him cartooning just as good as ever ♥?
Thanks! Really dug those early Godzilla comics as a kid and I'm such a fan of Allred too
Phenomenal example of the late great Dave Stevens. He was wonderful to put up with me as a teenager at cons each year. I enjoyed his documentary but gave me the feels. One of a kind.
Thanks! Sala had a very distinctive style that made his art very recognizable. Often themes rooted in horror with dark humor. I miss seeing him post new art but I'm happy to own a few examples of his works.
Probably to himself as something cathartic. A memoir would be a really great read. He's an amazing storyteller of life experiences.
He did a great job with the other nine musicians/bands in this series. I also dig all the hip hop artist tributes his done over the years.
Thanks! I've got quite a bit of music related art so this fits in along with my GPK art collection
Space Adventure Cobra was one of the early anime to really open my mind on the genre and the early Viz Comics manga English translation introduced me to the books. Happy to find both examples on this manga and a cel from the anime in my gallery
Jeffrey Brown, always on point with his humor 😂
Amazing. Such a large piece too. Love to see this in person. Congrats
Great Corbin page showing why he was one of the great masters of horror storytelling
It's funny, I bought it earlier this year and forgot all about it 😂 It went straight into a box of CGC
Man, that would be great if they did have a census on sketchcover graded books. I'd love to dig through the pics for them. They don't though.
Thanks! Always happy to have examples from creators of animations weather adapted from their comics works or created for the screen. I've got quite a few in my gallery. Angus Oblong, Ben Edlund, Bill Plympton, Buichi Terasawa, Don Bluth, Go Nagai, John K, Katsuhiro Otomo, Eastman & Laird, Matt Groening, Ralph Bakshi, Sam Kieth, Tony Millionaire, Toshio Maeda... just to name a few 😉
Happy to revisit this and see it in your gallery. Cheers, Anthony
After Jeffrey Brown's success with his Eisner Award winning Vader and Son/Vader's Little Princess, I felt it was only a matter of time that Marvel would let him use his formula humor on their superheroes since they also own Star Wars now.
The puzzle box is soooooo a rubix cube 😂
The Rubix Cube is such a great touch
Thankfully they continued the gory shinnanagans in the two "Freddy vs Jason vs Ash" comic mini series (see my Eric Powell gallery for the covers).
Have you heard his surf band Jackie & The Cedrics? He doesn't wear the mask in the band lol I love surf so it's a trip that he does both artisticly well.
Look up his works. I really dig his movie posters
Three things I dig packaged together. GPK, Godzilla, and old school hip hop. BAMB!
Absolutely loved Lapham's work on this series since its release in the 90's.
Thanks! I finally had the chance to meet him at DesignerCon Las Vegas 2024. He didn't disappoint with his Luchador mask haha! I added the photo of our meet up.
I too thought it was a great choice of classic GPK characters.
My wife collects the GPK cards, I collect the art. She used to work in the fashion industry and the set this was in, was a parody on fashion. My wife is goth at heart so I thought this would be a great addition to our household.
He'll do just fine writing South Korean films 🎥 One of the most insane cinematic takes put to celluloid for sure.
The voice casting on this show was awesome.
This was used for a Cannibal Corpse tshirt. This is the pen & inks. It was then painted separately for printing.
