Who needs a Picasso or Dali when you can have a Kwapisz?

If you go to the letters page in the back of this issue #172 ("The Hyborean Page") and look in the middle column, MY LETTER to the editors was printed when I was a Conan noob, asking them questions about Conan's origin and clothing/history, etc. My address was printed as well, and as a result, I recieved a letter from an at- that-time college English student whom was trying to break into a job writing Conan stories for Marvel, and he wrote to me asking permission to 'shop' some writerly ideas and storylines past me to do soft market research by soliciting my responses to his work via penpalling with him on it. It TOTALLY made me the happiest Conan nerdboy to have had this opportunity. I remember only his name, Ron Fitz. Time has erased whatever became of him, or where he got to, or whether he ever made good on his writing in any way. I was thrilled as a 16 year old to get this correspondence. I remember thinking how cool it was that a major publication printed my letter! I'm still to this day thrilled at the immortalization of my name in print forever, even though it is trivial in most respects. If there be any chance Ron Fitz is still out there, please write me back at averiguar@live.com. I'd love to hear from you again! Thanks to everyone who reads this comment and indulges my little story here.
