Thanks! I'm reaching out to Geof to find out what it is all about. I have no idea about the history or possible publication of this piece. In theory, it was done for a cover.

A terrific CAF member not only helped me find that it was linked to the Star Kid movie in 1997, but I soon discovered that it is actually the cover to the first Dark Horse issue of Warrior of Waverly Street. How awesome is that? I found it as an unpublished illustration that was "maybe a cover" and we ended up recovering lost cover art. That just made my day! Thank you so much with the assist CAF community member!
