Description

Carlos Meglia has been a tremendous stylistic influence on me and I've always wanted to get some of his work...but...I could never seem to find any...until recently.

Now....
I thought these covers were all original art, as they were listed as "Technique: Ink" by the dealer. However when they arrived I found the figures of the kids were all paste-ups with a little white-out and inking over to darken some areas.
I was disappointed...but...they are still the covers and they are still cool...and there is still some original drawing on them...so...not a total loss.

Wow, you got 3 out of 4. Well done. Meglia was a giant artist influencing so many (hello Mrs Ramos and Herrera) Still, considering your description of the art, I hope you got an afterwards rebate on them.

Ho comprato dallo stesso dealer delle tavole antecedenti a queste di cybersix scoprendo in seguito fosse una sua apitudine, fare collage con le tavole o usare fotocopie da incollare e ritoccare in seguito. Meglia era instancabile e rispettava le consegne, ma per velocizzare il lavoro spesso usava questi trucchi, cose cmq comuni a molti autori degli anni passati.

Il lavoro resta cmq originale e non esistono altre copie di queste tavole anche se realizzate con tecniche non artigianali al 100%. Non a caso il costo di questi originali è di gran media inferiore a quello di tavole originali ompletamente realizzate a mano. Ci stavo a fare un pensiero an he io a tutte e 4 le cover ma quando ho visto gli originali del numero 1 di cybersix ho preso quelli.
