DescriptionMaster sculptor Randy Bowen drew these sketches during early preparation for his very first Star Wars statue in 1996. Boba Fett was the first in the series of three star wars bronze sculptures that were cast by Bowen and released through Dark Horse Comics in the late 90's (See the statue HERE ). According to a note written on the back of one of the drawings, Bowen rendered the sketches from memory of the character.Social/Sharing |

really cool and for a Statue collectors like me this a really interesting stuff! and analyzing the drawings it would not surprise me if the "sideshow" had also been based a little on this to later be inspired and launch their statue of Boba fett from the "Mythos" series

Thanks for your comment Tom! Yeah, I see what you mean about the Mythos Fett statue. I vaguely remembered it so I looked it up. It's a handsome statue and wow, that massive rifle he's carrying!

Hey Han is a very cool statue the hands are interchangeable and you can switch to the classic weapon like the one in the drawing. I think there really shouldn't be many concepts for status "museum pose" anyway haha cheers and congrats! Bowen rocks!

I don't know if I even knew these were out there! So cool to have the prelims, and even better, along with the statue. If that's your thing :) Congrats!

Thanks K! I enjoy collecting both 2D & 3D art. Actually, my first art purchase was Noble's 9" Yoda bronze way back in 1990. There are a handful of very cool Star Wars bronze sculptures out there, primarily by Bowen and Noble.
