Description

Wondercon 2018. I had previously been lucky enough to pick up a head sketch from Jason at another show but discovered this in his portfolios with some of his more recent work (swamp thing, etc). Next to it was the original to his amazing Action Comics 1000 variant however he was unwilling to sell without a ridiculous offer. Since his normal covers run 6-8K I knew I wasn't going to be anywhere close to what he wanted. However this piece was available and I knew I had to have it. Jason told me it was an alternative/unused take to his action comics cover, which obviously is very similar in composition. At this point I think he is THE BEST artist in the current DC Comics roster and is only getting better with every project he does. I feel very lucky to own this piece.
