Description

I missed out on one of these ads that hit the market last year, so when this found its way to Heritage I knew I had to own it. I'm a dentist/oral surgeon by trade, so the subject matter is on brand and the story line so over the top. I mean they essentially make Count Plaque into Satan and defeat him with Cogates Jr's "star shaped gel with sparkles"

This is nice, but they didn't want to offend any of the other advertisers by substituting "slime" for sugar. I would imagine 3 other ads in the comic for Kool-aid, Bubble Yum, some soft drinks. Quite the turnaround for Cap from advertising Hostess confections just a decade earlier. It been 34 years, maybe the next set of ads for Cap will be teaming up with Hims-Man to hawk testosterone pills.
