Description

One of my SDCC 2023 pick ups, this book features the first Aquaman and DC Comics work of Jim Aparo. It's also the first chapter of the classic storyline, "The Search for Mera". The page itself features Aquaman and Aqualad riding their seahorses beginning the quest for Mera. So many cool details featuring undersea life and I love the page layout.

So much attention paid to the environments to make them fantastical for Aquaman's Kingdom to be worth fighting for in his constant struggles. Sweeping images to take you to this realm of the underwater Camelot.

Fantastic< I remember seeing these rigth after I saw Jim do the Repent Hariquin, Prankster character in the back of Thunderbolt at Charlton.
