Very nice piece! I believe the pencils were done on a separate sheet.

Nope these are Joe's inks directly over John's original pencils on 9x12. For the actual copy that was used for production of the lithograph joe made an enlarged 11x17 blue line copy of John's art and inked that as well. I unfortunately don't have that piece.

I remembered Joe posting about doing inks on a separate board for the print. Congrats on getting the inks on the original pencils.
