DescriptionBefore Xmen Arcade hit in 1992, there was the Xmen computer game Madness in Murderworld in 1989.It came with a one shot comic and a sweet instruction manual going over several Mutants profiles. I must have read that comic over 100 times pitting the xmen through a gauntlet of villians. Glad to add an early Bagley piece. I'm mainly a villians collector so the bottom half splash is what pulled me to this piece, but the top panels with the xmen displaying there powers are nice bonuses. Glad to see a couple more pages here on CAF by fellow collector Paul P. I can't help but to think this comic/game influenced the xmen arcade 92 game. Same line up...many cut scenes reminiscent of this issue as well. TO ME MY BROTHERHOOD! Social/Sharing |

Great page -- congrats on the pickup! I bought the game when it came out and remember seeing Mark Bagley's art for the first time here. I thought he was pretty good and had promise. I wonder what ever happend to him? :)

Haha thanks Ted. My childhood neighbor had the game fortunately and could careless for the comic and gave me it and the instructions manual. Still have it to this day. I think Mark turned out ok as an artist!

Appreciate Tyler. The xmen panels were a nice bonus. The floating head of Charles always brings me back to the cuts cutscenes of the xmen arcade. The half villians splash sealed the deal!

Bring on the baddies! Prof X is about to have a really bad day, methinks. Great 90s art from Bagely here, and I love that last panel. Man, this page has a LOT of great characters. (And I loved that game, too) Great find. Congrats!
