Description

Beautiful portrayal of Magnus the Savior by Jerome. Been a fan of Jerome since his work on Uncanny Xforce. Glad to add a piece done by Jerome. Many thanks to Kwan.

Very nice portrait! But, Magnus "the Savior"? Ohhhhh, that must be a reference to the time he saved hundreds of men on that Russian submarine that was sinking back in X-Men #150! Oh wait...no, I seem to recall he used his powers to purposely sink that sub. Hmmm, "Magneto the Destroyer" woul be more apropos!

Thanks Ruben. Strongly suggest giving xmen 97 a try, the first two episodes.  Magneto's character arc and music score is top notch. After you watch I guarantee three words come to your mind...Magneto was right!

I hate to disappoint you John, but on the advice of MANY people, I DID watch the first two episodes and didn't find anything special about them, after being told how amazing the series is. I intended to keep watching, but I just never got back to it. It was a few months ago and I've already forgotten everything about it. 🙁

Magneto stirs the drink in the cartoon and Opena shows that confident smirk like a guy who thinks it's a badge of honor to have never tried a root beer float.

I'm WILLING to try it! I just feel like my very first one should be an authentic one at an ice cream shop or restaurant. But I can't say I even remember the last time I saw them on a menu. They've just never been a thing over here.

🤷
