Can't get any better than this for a full page Sandman splash! Congrats, and good luck hunting down more Sinister Six members!

A great example for your Sandman entry, and by Byrne, too!

Thanks Ruben. Solo sandman splashes were tough to find and the Byrne was the cherry on top

Got to love a featured villain splash! They don't come up too often. I'm sure Byrne writing it gave himself the opportunity as editors would insist on Spider-Man being in there somewhere.

Byrne is wise beyond the years! It's all about the VILLIANS.
See Dark Phoenix Saga as the greatest story ever told due to the antagonist!

Not only a solo Sandman splash, with the Byrne kicker, but it's also from the Ralph Maccio era! A golden age of comics in its own right. Congrats on the very cool page and good luck with the rest of the Six.

I'm guilty, most art I pick up is from nostalgia or I enjoyed reading the comic, but I have not read Spiderman Chapter one. Was captivated by the image. I'm guessing you recommend giving it a read?

Honestly, I'm not sure I read that title either. Or, if I did, it didn't stand out. But I was a fan of the Maccio run as editor in general.

Yes! Always a fan of Sandman because of the visuals an artist can make. Awesome how the lettering is incorporated here! Congrats!

Congratualtions on a terrific splash page featuring a key Spider-Man villain. So cool that the page was written, penciled, inked, AND lettered by JB!
