DescriptionOk, I'm a pretty big Nomad fan. Since his 90s mini series but before that, it was Zeck's run on Cap that pretty much captivated me and was a huge reason I became enamored with comics in the first place. Sure, there were others, but those issues to me are the cat's meow. The piper's pie. The wax on the mustache.I know a lot of Cap fans feel the same way. Jack Monroe Nomad went from just the other (evil) Bucky in Cap 153, to a lonely lost kid looking for guidance in Cap 281. Before Nomad was Nomad, he was Bucky, and this page from issue 281 is a great capture of the character in his early phases, pre 90s angst and anger. This is 80s innocence, and it's Zeck in one of his all-time best runs. Jack Monroe in his Bucky uniform, and only the second page where his name is mentioned and the first page where Cap calls him Jack. And from the arc that made Jack Monroe Nomad. Just, way cool for a Nomad fan and collector. Glad I spotted this at the SF art show. Well worth the trip. Social/Sharing |

Zeck and Beatty.... Cap.. Jack Barnes as Bucky... Constrictor... This is an amazing page! Congrats, Nathan!

Lovely page. Really enjoy the angle on that first panel and keeps wowing all the way to the last.

Congrats on finding this page at the show Nathan. Man, even if the page had nothing to do with Noman, it would still be a really nice quality content page. Great Cap and Constrictor images and great action flow all around!

Great find! The Zeck and Beatty team at their 80's best in all out action and bold storytelling! The Constrictor, Cap, and Bucky interactions are superhero battle excellence!

Trip definitely made with this!! How'd I miss it? You know I loves me some Zeck. Great top to bottom action page Nathan, started off by a killer half splash. Love the Cap images but I KNOW it's NOmad that makes this one for you. Outstanding stuff. Congrats, man!

It was right before I left too, just decided to open one more portfolio and there it was.
