First page of a two-pager, one of Kelly's wonderful nonsense poems, as published in The Pogo Stepmother Goose (1954).

Bun Rab (he carries the hose), Churchy (beloved dolt) and Choo Choo Curtis (the swamp's long-suffering mailman) perform a musical number.

Very much as good as the Pogo strips' line quality with the Walt Kelly brush. The simple and delicate line can express more than anything hidden behind textures and shadows.
