Description

This issue gives the origin story of Ra's al-Ghul - Batman's ageless nemesis.

This page begins by showing Ra's enemy, the Prince, inhaling the plague virus in silks sent by Ra's.

The middle panels show Ra's staying faithful to his deceased wife by forgoing any other female companionship.

And the last panel shows Ra's plan succeeding by having the sultan call for Ra's to heal the Prince.
