DescriptionI love Rodimus and was super-happy to find that this Cover was still available. It also doesn't hurt that this variant was part of IDW's month-long cover program to celebrate the return of ROM! (Now I can be one of the cool kids with ROM OA, too!)As to being the "SUB" Cover variant, that specifically refers to a Subscriber Cover (aka Subscription Variant). This was intended as a special variant edition to encourage readers to subscribe to ongoing series through their local comic shops. Comic stores could offer these exclusive covers only to customers who signed up for subscriptions, as a perk to boost regular sales and loyalty. However, from what I understand, in many cases, they were treated like any other variant cover. Not all IDW issues had SUB variants, but they were common in series like Transformers to incentivize direct support for physical retail. Social/Sharing |

Not being the Transformers expert YOU are, I was a bit confused at first when I read the title and then saw the image. It was like, wait a second, isn't that ROM? Haha! Anyway, not at all familiar with Cahil, but I really love the linework here. The high contrast with all the black is great. And the fist bump is really cool too. Congrats on this awesome cover.
