DescriptionTook me a while to track down a powerful Swamp Thing image by the master himself, but Simon Reed made it possible in 2017. I love it! Completed on Bainbridge board measuring 12'x17'. Bernie meant for this to be part of a Swamp Thing portfolio, but could not come to an agreement with DC Comics so the project was dropped.This page makes a cameo in the corner of page 84 of Comic Book Creator #6 Presents Swampmen. Always dug this particular design of Swamp Thing.

This was one of the finished plates Bernie did for a Swamp Thing portfolio which never came to fruition, after DC refused to Bernie a fair share of the profits for its release...
I wanted to buy this beautiful page, but missed my opportunity...
Now I know where it went!!!

Thanks for the backstory on this piece! Do you know of any other Swamp Thing portfolio pieces he dated and that were done Bainbridge art board like this one?
