Description

I believe that the content for this issue of Marvel Fanfare was originally slated for an issue of Incredible Hulk until the falling out between Byrne and Shooter ended his run prematurely. Jim Shooter maintains that Incredible Hulk editor Denny O'Neil killed the issue. In support of this, "The Incredible Hulk" and "3xx" is written in the top margin but was erased. This issue consists entirely of full-page spreads, and this one is perhaps the best IMHO (not including the classic cover). The Hulk literally fills the entire frame. Love it!

It's great that we got to see it published at all. This massive block of gamma muscle dominates the page and Byrne putting a puny human there for scale is a smart move..
