DescriptionProbably THE piece made for the Marvel Fan! Peter Parker reads a copy of Marvel Comics #1 and I think Paolo Rivera did such a great job doing this piece! He spent numerous days to create this piece and I was really lucky to get this one! Definitely one to keep for more than 75 years!Social/Sharing |

You're right, it is something for the Marvel fan to cherish. It's a wonderful image done superbly by the multi-talented Rivera. The guy is just fantastic. Bravo.

Truly an incredible painting and a treasure depicting so many great memories from Marvel Comics from the past 75 years of publishing. A gem!

This hits all the right buttons for me, from the near Rockwell-like feeling of nostalgia engendered by the young Peter Parker reading Marvel Comics #1 to the choices and depictions of all the Silver & Bronze Age characters. The color palette adds to the overall feeling of the painting and the Spider-Man figure popping out of his panel adds just the right touch of pizzazz.

I think Paolo didn't miss anyone significant among the heroes! Can you spot the villains? :)

One of the very best pieces on CAF. Captures what it is to be a comics fan, and Paolo is the perfect artist to do it.
