It's not often I'll steer away from an AR cover, but Steve's was so PERFECT, I just couldn't resist. Silver Age goodness everywhere. I'm always a sucker for a good hammer twirl too.

The 'misunderstood' Hulk just gets to the core of the character, and also to the family dynamic that the Avengers enjoyed in those amazing Silver Age exploratory scripts. I was similarly thrilled with the interior story (that this cover seems to be designed for). The Avengers are having tea when they are interrupted by the Hulk who then creates Hulk versions of all the Avengers. And of course Rick Jones.

Not sure how I missed this one! Rude is the modern embodiment of Alex Toth and Jack Kirby. Just a a really fun cover!

Superb Rude madness! His ample love for the subject material shines through brightly, and no one else can convey the joy like Steve Rude can. Outstanding character poses and “life” with each of the subjects here, and the perspective of that spinning hammer is off-the-hook mega-awesome. Gorgeous piece! Congrats!
